Air Conditioning Systems We Install

Single-Room Split Systems

A split system connects one indoor unit to one outdoor unit. It is a practical choice for bedrooms, loft conversions, living rooms, home offices and smaller commercial spaces.

Multi-split Systems

A multi-split system connects several indoor units to one outdoor unit. It is ideal for homes, apartments and businesses where several rooms require independent heating and cooling but exterior space is limited.

Ducted Systems

A ducted system distributes cooling through discreet ceiling or wall vents connected to a concealed indoor unit. Ideal for homes, apartments and businesses where multiple rooms require comfortable temperature control while maintaining minimal interior appearance.

Ceiling & Suspended Systems

Ceiling cassette and suspended systems provide efficient heating and cooling for larger commercial spaces, including offices, shops and restaurants where wall-mounted units may not be suitable.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Arcas Air Conditioning was highly recommended to me by a neighbour and I can understand why. The team did a fantastic job of installing air conditioning in a large kitchen/diner and were very knowledgeable about the best type of unit. It was a neat, well executed job and their carpentry surrounding the outside unit was excellent. They were also very tidy. I have no hesitation in recommending this firm. Their quality (and speed) of communication was also excellent.

The installation team were fantastic – friendly, professional and incredibly tidy. They left the rooms exactly as they found them, and you genuinely wouldn’t have known they’d been there.

A great experience all round with a lovely team. I’d highly recommend them to anyone considering air conditioning.

His team did a great job cleaning up and even built a wood cover for the unit outside. I would definitely use Alan again and highly recommend.

FAQs for Air Conditioning Installations

How much does air conditioning installation cost in Tower Hamlets?

Standard single-room installations start from £2,400. The final cost depends on the system, room size, pipework requirements, outdoor unit location and installation complexity.

Can you install air conditioning in a flat?

Yes, subject to suitable equipment positions and any necessary permissions. Modern apartment blocks near Canary Wharf typically have management companies with strict rules on external alterations, which usually need sign-off before any outdoor unit is fitted — we factor this into every survey.

Can one outdoor unit operate several indoor units?

Yes. A multi-split system connects several independently controlled indoor units to one outdoor unit. This can be helpful where exterior space is limited.

Can air conditioning heat my home?

Yes. Modern air conditioning systems provide both heating and cooling, allowing them to be used throughout the year.

Do I need planning permission?

Many installations do not require council planning permission, but modern developments often have management-company rules on external alterations that need separate sign-off — while converted period warehouses may have their own structural considerations. We check both during every survey.

Do you provide the estimate before the site survey?

Where possible, yes. We initially review your photographs, room dimensions and installation details. If you are happy with the estimate, we arrange a site survey and prepare the final quotation.

How long does installation take?

A standard single-room installation can often be completed within one day. Multi-room, ducted and more complex projects may take longer. We confirm the expected timeframe before work begins.
